Barred Plymouth Rocks
I started my Barred Plymouth Rock bantam breeding program in 1980 with stock from Glen Holgerson of Arizona, Thane Earle of Wisconsin, Adrian Rademacher of Minnesota. Over the years I have picked up an occasional bird to add to my breeding program and the resulting birds have been very good. They are excellent layers and very fertile. They have very good Plymouth Rock Type, especially having longer backs then the Whites which is more desirable. They have clear even markings and well spread tails. I have won Best of Variety at nearly every show I have exhibited at in the past 20 years and won Single Comb Clean Legged Class Champion 5 times.
