The Gold Coast Farm originated in Azusa, California in 1978. At that time approximately 50 breeds of large fowl, bantams, waterfowl and turkeys were bred and exhibited at fairs and shows throughout California, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma. When I graduated college the farm was moved to Glen Avon, California where I expanded to many more breeds and varieties. In 2001 I relocated to Pittsford, New York to take a job with a major university. Because snow is a four letter word, that move was short lived and I moved back to the gateway to the desert.
I am a credentialed Agriculture teacher and FFA Instructor with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture Science, dual Minor Degrees in Animal Science and Agriculture Business Management and a Masters Degree in Agriculture Education.
